Fees

At Kneller Hall, our fees are structured to be straightforward and transparent, giving you a clear picture of what’s included as standard and what applies as an optional extra — set out separately below for the Junior School and Senior School.

Junior School Fees

Tuition Fees (2026/27 academic year)
£8,221 per term, applying equally across Reception to Year 6. Fees are payable across three terms of the academic year.

What’s Included
Fees include breakfast, a mid-morning snack, and lunch for all pupils, along with local curriculum trips.

What’s Extra
The following are charged separately:

  • Wraparound care (breakfast is included within the morning session)
  • External provider clubs and activities
  • Residential trips and specialist workshops
  • Individual music lessons (billed directly by tutors)
  • School uniform (purchased from our designated supplier)
  • Trips beyond the local curriculum

Registration & Deposit
A £180 registration fee is payable at the point of application and is non-refundable. Once a place is accepted, a £3,000 deposit is required, which is refunded when your child leaves the school, minus any costs for unreturned or damaged school property. If a place is accepted but not subsequently taken up, the deposit is non-refundable.

Payment & Notice
Fees are invoiced termly in advance and collected by direct debit. A full term’s written notice must be given to the Head to avoid liability for the following term’s fees.

Sibling Discounts
Families with two children receive a 5% discount on the second child’s fees. Families with three or more children receive a 10% discount on the second child and 5% on the third child and beyond. Discounts apply to tuition fees only and cannot be combined with other fee remissions unless specifically approved.

Senior School Fees

Tuition Fees (2026/27 academic year)
£10,045 per term for Years 7 & 8, and £10,474 per term for Years 9–13. Fees are payable across three terms of the academic year.

What’s Included
Fees include tuition across the curriculum, course books, and the majority of co-curricular activities provided by the school, unless additional costs are incurred.

What’s Extra
The following are charged separately:

  • Bistro charge (compulsory): £520 per term, covering breakfast, lunch, and mid-morning fruit
  • Any items or activities not included within the standard co-curricular offering — full details are set out in the school’s charges policy document. [insert link to policy doc]

Registration & Deposit
A £180 registration fee is payable at the point of application and is non-refundable. Once a place is accepted, a £3,000 deposit is required, which is refunded when your child leaves the school, minus any outstanding charges or costs for property damage.

Payment & Notice
Fees are invoiced termly in advance and may be paid in full or via monthly instalments by direct debit (three equal payments per term, collected on the 1st of each month). First-term fees for September entry are due by the preceding 1 July. A full term’s written notice must be given to the school to avoid liability for the following term’s fees.

Sibling Discounts
Families with two children receive a 5% discount on the second child’s tuition. Families with three or more children receive a 10% discount on the second child and 5% on the third child and beyond. Discounts apply to tuition fees only and cannot be combined with other remissions.

Late Payment
Interest is charged on overdue amounts at up to 2% per month, and the school may seek to recover any associated costs.
