Sixth Form Wellbeing

Wellbeing in the Sixth Form

The Sixth Form years bring real excitement and real pressure. We take both seriously. Our pastoral approach ensures that each individual Sixth Former is the fulcrum of their own development: supported, challenged and genuinely known.

Tutor Support

Every Sixth Former has a dedicated Form Tutor who monitors their progress and wellbeing, provides consistent pastoral support and is the primary thread between student and school. The Head of Sixth Form is closely involved in the welfare of every student throughout Years 12 and 13.

Mental Health and Counselling

We have qualified counsellors on site and a proactive approach to mental health. We work hard to create a culture where asking for help is seen as strength, not weakness and where students feel genuinely comfortable reaching out. Our Reflections programme continues into the Sixth Form, addressing the specific challenges and questions relevant to this stage of life.

Preparing for What Comes Next

The step from school to university is significant. We prepare our students carefully: through our university guidance programme, leadership roles, enrichment experiences and the ongoing development of independence and self-management. Students leave Kneller Hall School not just with good grades – they leave ready.

How to Join Us
