Senior School Wellbeing

Every Student Has Someone in Their Corner

We see it as our duty to develop the full human as well as the fully qualified person. At Kneller Hall, our pastoral approach ensures that each individual student is the fulcrum of their own development.

Form Tutors and the House System

Every student belongs to a form group with a Form Tutor who is their daily pastoral anchor, advocate and connection between school and home. The House system creates an additional layer of community and belonging across year groups.

Pastoral Support

Our Heads of Year, Deputy Head Pastoral, qualified school counsellors and full-time School Nurse provide further layers of care. We take mental health seriously and work hard to ensure every student has access to the right help at the right time and feels genuinely comfortable asking for it.

Reflections

Our Reflections programme, dedicated PSHE time, covers wellbeing, relationships, online life, mental health, identity and the ethical questions young people face. It is one of the most valued parts of school life at Kneller Hall Senior School.

Safeguarding

The safety of every student is our highest priority. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead and wider safeguarding team ensure that robust, proactive systems are in place, all staff are regularly trained, and our culture prioritises every student’s welfare above all else.
