We’re proud to provide our pupils with a curriculum that is broad, challenging and designed with imagination. Our aim is to build strong academic foundations while ensuring that learning feels like discovery, not duty.
English, mathematics, science and humanities form the core of our curriculum and are taught with ambition and depth to provide genuine understanding rather than surface recall. We want children who can reason, question and make connections.
A strong STEAM strand – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics – runs through the whole curriculum, with pupils working on hands-on, real-life projects including coding, robotics, electronics and design.
Imagination is the highest kite we can fly. Music, art and drama are central to our curriculum, and pupils perform, create and collaborate throughout their years with us. The arts develop expression, confidence, and the creative thinking that feeds every other subject.
Physical activity is woven through the school day. Children try a wide range of sports, developing teamwork, resilience and a genuine love of being active. Our sporting foundations are already strong, and the facilities at our new location will take them further.
Resilience, compassion, kindness, good manners, consideration for others – these are not old-fashioned values. They are the qualities embedded throughout our curriculum, school day and community. Pupils may also work towards the Dukes Young Leaders Award, growing as responsible, thoughtful members of the wider world.
